After more than 40 years of property, casualty insurance experience with several of the world's leading insurance brokerage organizations, Richard gained the level of expertise clients recognize as fundamental for meeting their requirements of experience and confidentiality.
Richard began his career in New York working with two of the world's leading insurance brokerage firms, and also served as risk & insurance manager for a New York Stock Exchange listed multinational conglomerate.
While working for one of the New York insurance brokers, Richard transferred to Miami to manage their casualty insurance department. Several years on, Richard joined the largest privately held insurance agency in Florida, Seitlin & Company, as Senior Vice President and member of their board of directors. He then developed and expanded the kidnap insurance practice in his new firm, serving high net-worth clients throughout Latin America, and over time expanding that to include both foreign and multinational companies with exposures in high risk countries.
Throughout those years, Richard experienced a wide variety of kidnap cases, all of which served to expand his scope of knowledge about the most important features of a kidnap insurance program.
